I signed up to use Maria’s coaching services as I was setting up a business and recognised that starting out on entrepreneurship was in part to do with mindset. Maria’s coaching helps me to navigate the doubt that naturally comes in and helps me to gain clarity to make decisions for me and my business so that I will succeed. Maria coaching techniques and professionalism are second to none. Having someone to support me and to hold me accountable has been invaluable to my journey.

 When I started coaching sessions I was at a bit of a juncture where I was unsure ‘what next’, questioning myself and when/if I should be pursuing a different direction. Maria helped me to explore and vocalise my thoughts and concerns which helped me to gain perspective and contextualise what seemed to sometimes be a muddle of my thoughts. I was then able to more clearly focus on areas in which I truly wished to challenge myself or explore further.

Coaching sessions with Maria over the past few months have been many things – thought-provoking, habit-changing, calming, searching, inspiring and enjoyable – and have led to changes in the way I handle some situations (including time pressures of a working day). As a coach, Maria embodies positive energy, confidence, trust, honesty and empathy – but empathy in a way that challenges at the same time – and I always felt heard and understood. Maria listens and with intuition picks up on what turned out to the nub of things which had definite potential for improvement! Each session was productive and had a good pace. Sometimes I knew what I wanted to talk about, sometimes I wasn’t sure, but within a few minutes of the start of each session a theme emerged. I made a decision or two during each session, although I know if this hadn’t come about that would be have been ok too, and the changes have stuck. Whether it’s small-scale tweaks you’re looking to work through or much more significant change, I recommend Maria as a coach to anyone looking to make positive change in their professional lives. Thank you, Maria. I shall miss our sessions but have the benefit of the long-lasting impact they have.

It was quite daunting to consider this initially, but it was a very positive experience which I would highly recommend ….all should do regularly for their wellbeing.

For Partners, to have someone who understands the fine balancing act of running business , being an employer and GP as we spend so much time looking after everyone else we are often neglectful of ourselves and do not always have the headspace to make changes even when we recognize change is needed.
